a few years ago, there was a gigantic cruise ship that pulled into the Bay and anchored off of the downtown area. It was so out of place it was ridiculous. But I’m sure the local businesses loved it. That was actually the closest I’ve ever been to a cruise ship. I imagine it’s a huge floating party, depending on the passenger makeup.
