On 04/15/26, DHT Tankers provided a business update.

  • For Q1 2026, TCE avg of $78,800 daily ($91,700 daily for Spot trading, $61,300 for TC)
  • For Q2 2026, Spot trading avg rate of $189,500 daily with 49% done

Restarted a DHT position in mid March 2026 after acknowledging the Strait of Hormuz situation was not going to have a quick fix. As a company, DHT have additional data drivers in Q1 2026. New vessel delivery, and a possible old vessel exiting (though that might be a Q2 2026 event). Also, TC rate average will move higher, … not quite sure on the timing.

Should expand on this. DHT’s time charters are a combination of legacy TCs rolling off, a new medium term (5-year deal with option years) and three very high rate (above $90K daily) 1-year deal. Mix those items together it becomes a jumble.
