I love the ironies of lovingly repeating parrots. I had one (extremely eccentric) old friend who was the “emergency go to adoptor” of parrots who screamed horrible horrible things. My favorite was one that had lived for 50 years or so with a failed starlet, and upon hearing almost any person from outside the household would scream in high pitched hysteria

You really should write a book. You have some amazing, and sometimes humorous, stories. I have some stories, but most of them aren’t as good as ex-starlet parrots.
