I have had my schedule upside down for weeks with all the work.
I thought I had some sort of explanation. Market manipulation for sure, just not triple witching.

Major institution going long puts elsewhere in the market pushed up the minis. The going long was computer generated. When values settled more going long happened.
To do that from elsewhere in the market means huge positions were taken.
