Drunken, Fraudulent Doctor takes $15,000/yr pension cut

The curious case of Rear Admiral (bottom half) (now Captain (ret.) Ronny Jackson.



It was Rear Admiral (lower half), but I think bottom may be more appropriate.


But Jackson is no longer a retired admiral. The Navy demoted him in July 2022
Jackson has continued to refer to himself as a retired rear admiral, including in statements released since the Navy reclassified him as a retired captain.

Seems like it may have violated Texas law.

Texas Penal Code - PENAL § 32.54. Fraudulent or Fictitious Military Record


A person commits an offense if the person:

(1) uses or claims to hold a military record that the person knows:

(A) is fraudulent;

(B) is fictitious or has otherwise not been granted or assigned to the person; or

(C) has been revoked; and

(2) uses or claims to hold that military record:
