What happens if it is covered with heavy debris?

Suggestion … don’t pass gas in it.

What real people (e.g. my own family out to 2nd cousins, large numbers of clients of my practical engineering architect brother-in-law in SF, multiple homes I have guested in) do near the San Andreas or other major risks is make the each bedrooms into a designed survival zones, either during construction or post hoc with steel posts and beams, and create something similar for the kitchen or an area adjacent. And of course, really strong door frames.

Yes – 10,000 years from now, after the Fall of Civilization, archeologists will be hypothesizing that the guy in the steel box was some kind of Pharaoh, buried with rations to fuel his journey onward and upward.
