Today after hours, Elastic announced some c-suite changes (CPO has replaced co-founder Banon as CEO).
In addition, they released this statement on their upcoming earnings:
“Elastic announced that it now expects to exceed its guidance for revenue, non-GAAP operating margin and non-GAAP net loss per share provided for the third quarter of fiscal year 2022. Elastic expects to announce its results for the third quarter in March 2022.”
First major SaaS company we can glean some (minimal) insight into for the upcoming quarterly reports. Here is Elastic’s guidance for fiscal Q3 2022:
Revs: $207-209M (32% yoy midpoint)
Non-GAAP Oper Margin: (6%) to (5%).
Having some issues from my mobile phone trying to find their average beat rate, that can help gauge how much Revs they may pull off in Q3.
