As it happens, I ordered some parts for my car last Tuesday. ETA two days. The hack was Wednesday. Had not heard anything, so called the dealer this morning. The parts might be there. There is a huge pile of boxes in their parts department, but they can’t scan anything in or out of inventory, so are backlogged out of their minds.
The IT company that was hacked is CDK Global. Was the company easy to hack? As of two years ago, CDK is owned by Brookfield Business Partners. PE strikes again.
