Apparently Fastly had an outage overnight, here is the quote and link from TechCrunch.

“Countless popular websites including Reddit, Spotify, Twitch, Stack Overflow, GitHub, gov.uk, Hulu, HBO Max, Quora, PayPal, Vimeo, Shopify, Stripe, and news outlets CNN, The Guardian, The New York Times, BBC and Financial Times are currently facing an outage. A glitch at Fastly, a popular CDN provider, is thought to be the reason, according to a product manager at Financial Times. Fastly has confirmed it’s facing an outage on its status website.”

I know a while back the board was trying to determine who their customers are and this seems to be an impressive list of websites that rely on their CDN.

Even MTF couldn’t be accessed in the past hours, believe it was due to FSLY outage too.

Yeah, it’s ironic that this news has appeared to give FSLY a boost. Perhaps temporary.

Cloudflare has had a couple of CDN outages of its own in the past couple of years, and it’s stock price has survived just fine.
