Looks like the Scientist have come up with a solution for air pollution and it won’t even hurt to implement.

Artificial photosynthesis would be great, although the article didn’t site any particular breakthroughs.
Sort of funny how the writer refers to carbon dioxide as “dirty” given that it is a plant food necessary for life on earth.
DB2
EXCESS CO2 is consider “dirty.” We emit far more CO2 than all the plant life on earth can possibly absorb (something around 30%). Excess CO2 of course increases temperatures.
Well Bob it is like anything. To much of a good thing is bad for you. They say a glass of wine is good for you but a bottle or two is bad. Anyone that thinks carbon dioxide at any level is good for you should be wrapping their lips around a tail pipe every day.
Andy
One of the possible problems with long term masking. Too much of our own CO2 was not such a good idea.
You know what I mean Bob? It was the hot air involved.
By some, and CO2 levels were higher than at present for hundreds of millions of years
Yes. Water is also necessary for plant life and one can have too much of it. That doesn’t make it “dirty”.
With increased carbon dioxide levels the earth has gotten greener. This can be measured by satellite.

That is just wonderful. Was the planet hotter or colder? Information is such an interesting thing. Partial information is a crime.
In warmer interglacial periods, the CO2 levels of the Earth were at about 280 parts per million (ppm), according to NASA. Now, they are over 400 ppm.
Multiple sources included in the link.
Here ya go, also from NASA:
In 2013, CO2 levels surpassed 400 ppm for the first time in recorded history. This recent relentless rise in CO2 shows a remarkably constant relationship with fossil-fuel burning, and can be well accounted for based on the simple premise that about 60 percent of fossil-fuel emissions stay in the air.
It was warmer. Over the eons the earth has alternated between warm and cold states. The cold states are characterized by ice sheets at the poles. We are, obviously, currently in a cold phase; the Little Ice Age was likely the coldest the earth has been in some 270 million years.
True. The rest is called the airborne fraction. Increased (artificial) photosynthesis would decrease the amount of carbon dioxide in the air. That’s why the title of the thread is “Finally a solution to climate change”. Unfortunately, the article didn’t include any methods to achieve said artificial photosynthesis.
More R&D is needed.

I though the process would eat pollution. CO2 is not pollution. CO2 is bubbles in beer!

Thanks for reminding me, I’ll have a cold one!
by who?
The twenty over there?
By whom? Humans (unless AI becomes able to do it).
