Now, the company is making an increasingly ambitious push into the automotive sector with a new Foxconn EV crossover that could become a serious Model Y rival in the growing electric SUV market.
Foxtron has announced plans to develop an electric vehicle for Mitsubishi, with production expected at manufacturing facilities in Taiwan. The project is expected to utilize Foxconn’s EV expertise and platform technologies.
Foxconn’s platform is modular and designed for use by multiple automotive brands, helping to reduce development costs and accelerate vehicle production.
