The basis of a good conspiracy theory is to have as many verifiable facts included as possible.
In another forum, I took three facts: 1: Ford Motor is talking about reopening a plant in India, that it closed two years ago, 2: Ford is being very secretive about what it intends to build in that plant, other than saying it will be for export only, not for domestic Indian sale, and 3: Ford also has an engine plant in India, that has been building the 3 cylinder 1.5 that is used in the EU market Focus, which is being discontinued next year, and is the base, manual transmission only, engine in the Kuga.
(start conspiracy generator) Therefore, what Ford intends to build in that plant, where workers make about 5% of what USian autoworkers make, is a secret, because, when revealed, it will make a lot of people very angry. What could make a lot of people very angry? Shifting Ford Escape production from Louisville, to India, tossing a few thousand USians out of work. By moving Escape production to India, Ford cuts labor costs sharply for the car, and has a new customer for the Indian engine plant, so they donāt need to write off the engine plant.
