Global markets

This was shared in an earlier thread, but thought I would bring up here as a new thread

What do others think of a few analysts indicating market will continue to tank?

U.S. Seems to be doing ok. But these types of articles am sure will encourage people to panic sell regardless.

If we judge from the number of replies your query has received, the answer is, not much.

If we judge from the number of people posting on this board about continuing to buy-buy-buy stocks that [tho fundamentally good] technically are a disaster, again the answer is, not much.

Any analyst who hasn’t already warned of the danger of the stock market continuing to decline, doesn’t deserve consideration.

Be your own analyst anyway, rather than rely on someone else.
Research. Not company fundamentals [for this exercise], but the broad indices, and all sectors, and the world economies.
Asia, Europe and Latin America all look bearish.
Look at the Defensive sectors versus Aggressive - money has been moving out of one into the other.
Look at the relationship of bonds to treasuries, how that changes.
Look at the relationship of the Dollar to the growth we’ve had in the bull market. [Govt has taken on (more) Massive debt - to Pay Debt.]
[Money has been so easy to get that companies take on debt to buy back shares.]
Issues abound and are more problematic than a normal correction will fix.
This time, I fear, it IS different.
