Goldman's Solomon does not have a central fact

During the pandemic there was some sort of report that had veracity about China having 1000 extremely talented AI scientists. The US similar number of top people. But the Shanghai budget alone was $16 billion for AI. China employed 230k people in AI at that time as programmers.

That is what I mean in part.

The other part, just because it can be done does not make it profitable.

I also said I do not trust the US situation.

I trust second attempts more in tech.

To answer your questions regardinng “sudden”, no nothing will be sudden.

adding

Currently the response rate that AI data centers aim for is sudden in a sense of how quick. As much of this proves unprofitable and yet continues to be profitless AI in the US will be slower to respond. The current demands on the infrastructure will increase as less is spent on the hardware in relative terms.

You have no idea about what you are talking. You are just BS’ing in general. What do you truly know about any of the Chinese AI companies, or their financial model, or cap structure?

Thanks for the conversation anyhow.

You were not able to have a mature conversation.

Mature conversations require other person also to be mature. Just doing ChatGPT and posting something that is irrelevant doesn’t make you mature. I have been studying on Chinese IT companies for at least 3 years, and their AI effort for 2 years. I have posted extensively on BABA and various Chinese AI efforts with numbers. My posts are insights driven from that (doesn’t have to be correct )… not some ChatGPT meaningless information.

First of all this question shows, one your own lack of knowledge about Chinese AI companies and even important part is why “profitability” even a metric for a company that is investing very heavily in developing a frontier technology???

No one here cares how important you imagine you are.

Discuss profits or go home.

You are portraying something that is not real. Profits, the bottom line, is everything. Other than the top line.

You have next to nothing. There are next to no profits.

This is the top of the market globally if not now this minute, in the course of a life time, within a few months because Xmas is coming up.

You are bullish which is just wrong. Bullish at ultra highs in the markets is mean if anyone listens to you. Expert? Really? You studied profitless companies you are expert in. That is not saying anything.

People here have been around the block several times. No one is sold that buying into the highs is a good notion.

It is truly arrogant, but you do not know that.

If you flag this post, I am complaining that you are touting stocks at highs in the market instead of having honest discussions. You brought up your expertise. Come down to earth.

The sweet irony, you will look back a few years from now. If you listen now you will save yourself a lot of heart ache. But you won’t listen now. This is going to cost you. I am not against you. I am not on the other side of a debate. It is something different than any of that.

Accounting is accounting and economics is economics. Neither of them favor anything you are are touting. If anyone else did this amongst us you’d have choice words for him or her.

No, AI stocks are not broadly falling; while some individual stocks and tech sectors experienced pulling back in early October 2025, analysts still largely see AI as a strong buy with significant growth potential, although there are concerns about recent cracks in AI software stock valuations. There are mixed signals, with a recent survey showing a drop-off in corporate AI use alongside continued high investment in AI infrastructure.

I will venture a drop off in corporate usage is because the products are not good. Kids age 14 use the slang word “clanker” for AI and robot products that are failures.
