I know you don’t believe in market timing, but isn’t that implied when you trim or lighten positions?

Does your investing philosophy change if/when a market correction occurs?
If you are talking about a generalized decline in the market, what I try to do when the market has fallen, is raise some cash by selling some shares of low-beta stocks which haven’t fallen much, to buy additional shares of high-beta stocks which have fallen a lot. If it’s just one stock that has fallen, I’m suspicious that there may be something specific to the company, and probably won’t add unless I’m very sure.
