The jist of it, billionaires want us to pay more in taxes while they pay a lot less.
We are going to be flooded with messages about how taxing them less would help us. Laughable. It has failed us from 1981 to 2020.

And they will remind us they already pay most of the taxes. Plus their lobbyists will present their story to lawmakers. Who maybe depend on their donations to get re-elected.

Their bubble is going to get burst. The public knows the game. The public rejects taxes being low on the very wealthy.
The threat will be we will leave.
Most of them have illegal offshore accounts as it is. That is also a part of it. Trying to get the government not to investigate their offshore accounts.
Currently there are investigations. The idea is to close down the investigations.

Were it my call . . . I would go with the Romanov solution. Taxes would no longer be a thing to talk about and fleeing would not happen.
