From 2013 through 2018 Hunter Biden and his company brought in about $11 million via his roles as an attorney and a board member with a Ukrainian firm accused of bribery and his work with a Chinese businessman now accused of fraud, according to an NBC News analysis of a copy of Biden’s hard drive and iCloud account and documents released by Republicans on two Senate committees.
The documents and the analysis, which don’t show what he did to earn millions from his Chinese partners, raise questions about national security, business ethics and potential legal exposure.
They need to just go ahead and file charges so he can plead guilty, get sentenced and pardoned…
It worked for RWNJ Congresssman Duncan Hunter (R - San Diego) and his wife who stole campaign funds. Mistresses for him, lavish vacations for her…
She rolled on him. He couldn’t plead guilty fast enough to avoid a genuine conviction with sentencing… but mangomussolini pardoned him anyway, so crime is okay for the QOP.
DB2, I’m hoping you might back off on posting items from the news merely to stir up arguments. As you know, we’ve lost a lot of boards on TMF lately, and I’m hoping we can keep this one going without needless acrimony. Thanks.

That would be more convincing coming from someone who hadn’t (fairly vigorously) participated in a week long (or so) discussion of voting procedures, MrF.

I plead guilty to responding to DB2, who started the whole thing by posting a story intended to stir the pot here. I replied to him with a one-line comment, but a TMF soon thereafter chimed in, and the whole thing took off.
DB2 does this all the time. Most TMF long-timers know that. I’m asking him nicely not to keep doing it here. I’ll do my part my doing better at not taking the bait. As it happened, the voter ID stuff hit a nerve because it’s an area of expertise for me.

MrF, it’s partly a matter of style. I post news items to update issues. For example, I have threads on the California high-speed rail boondoggle and climate models running hot that have gone on for a decade because the stories are ongoing. I have been accused by some of cherry-picking articles; the multiple items show that at the least they are bowls of cherries.
Topics such as the drift of Hispanics away from the Democrats are important even if they make you uncomfortable and ‘stir the pot’. Will the Hunter story have legs? I don’t know. The whole Steele dossier story got a fair amount of coverage on the Atheists board, including ‘golden showers’, and it turned out to be bogus.
