P.S. Useful Red and Green LEDs were relatively easy to figure out, but blue was daunting and economically extremely valuable as with Red and Green it could produce magically energy efficient and subtly adjustable White Light

Very interesting story - Nakamura’s persistence is quite amazing. While his former employer never properly acknowledged his contribution, the science community and tech community did. Carbon emissions savings - huge too. The world needs more Nakamuras
