Intel's Pat Gelsinger just retired effect Jan 1

He leaves the 18A project in limbo.

He leaves two finance co interim CEOs. The finance people are the last thing Intel needs. It takes a top flight engine to guide the companies projects.

We do not know Pat’s reasons for leaving.

Pulling the golden parachute ripcord seems to be a popular thing to do today.

The entire financial system is getting a remake starting in January. No time like the present to leave.

The very visible CEOs dance around government subsidies. That dance is about to be altered. The current crop will be out of place. That I get.

But the engineer CEO is a must in all of these companies.

Look up the accomplishments Pat Gelsinger has in Intel engineering. He is a massive success.

I just watched his 4Q talk with a reporter. It danced a lot on the subsidies discussion. That is now going out the window. He sees that.
