Is S&P about to start a bearish trend?

Sorry, I’m multitasking. You are correct, you’ve been the stabilizing force questioning quills claims. I have also been watching VWAP (price below) and the weekly expected move (price below) for ARM as added indicators on this trade. The SWS info will cause me to pull the trigger with the first negative indicator. Thanks Charlie…doc

Doc,

Quill is a helluva good trader. That’s beyond dispute, as is his work ethic. But I’d argue that he doesn’t so much have “a system” as he is the system. Hence, borrow from him and learn from him what you can, But you gotta find your own path.

Doc,

I don’t know a thing about the tech industry. That’s Quill’s balliwick, and he’s quite well informed about it for having worked in it and for following it quite closely.

Me? I’d rather trade commodities or country funds. Though these days, I’m mostly rolling T-Bills.

Also, I read Beachman’s free newsletter (he also has a paid version that I may join) on substack and who posts on the fool. His analysis is that we might see a drop coming in the QQQ so I am watching the SOXS for an entry fyi…doc

edit: also watching SQQQ

Doc,

If you’re going to mess with SOXL, then you should look at TQQQ as well and then pick one, or the other. Don’t track both, given that they have a 0.85 correlation with each other. Instead, find a diversifier (or two or three).

I sold ARM this morning for 62.22 (locking in a short term gain of 10.9%) due to the sea of red on the nasdaq and most of the big 7 were red too…doc

edit: the below also got me out of ARM as it looks like there is a lot of buying anticipating the shift in direction

If you want to help me with COST, well on May 4th, I bought 1000 shares at $38.08.
I tried to get a job at COSTCO as a Greeter @ 18.00/hr. plus bennies and they wouldn’t hire me, so I bought the Company- Stocks that is

Doc,

Congrats on your exit. A chart suggests you acted prudently.

Thanks Charlie, I’m happy to have made some loot on the transaction. Watching the QQQ now to see if it takes a dive…doc

Thanks Quill,
Congrats on CRM, thats a nice gain! I too like AAPL. I will be watching AGL and BKNG a little too pricey for my wallet.
I bought some SQQQ for $16.07 today vs the PSQ you mentioned. Good to hear from you and thanks for the list of stocks and etf’s to watch…doc
