Legal Cannabis nets $15B in taxes

Of course that is in Canada where a bunch of socialists are running the show when they are not too stoned to make it to work in the morning. }};-D

Nova Scotia handled it brilliantly by putting a couple of extra shelves in their provincially owned and operated liquor stores, getting rid of the bottle your own wine section and using the staff to sell pot along with the 24s of beer and bottles of rum. Lots of income for the provincial coffers to spend on improved healthcare, policing, road repairs and still run balanced budgets.

Confession: Smoking pot was instant dismissal when I was military. I loved my job so never tried it. I still can’t get by that so I still haven’t tried it … well that and I can’t stand even cigarette smoke.

While I don’t speak from experience, mind you, I understand you no longer have to actually smoke it to use it.

I suppose that doesn’t look well for my actual interest (or lack thereof) in trying it? Nice to see my adopted province doing well financially though.

They have edibles and gummies, some kids and animals have eaten gummies by accident.

I used to smoke back in the day, but I have no interest in it now….I did more than a lifetime’s worth.
