Legal point of view who owns a stolen Bored Ape

Al,

There are a few things here.

You are talking in general terms. But also let me know, as in “you”, I need to know for my own sake. Fair enough. I think in my circumstances I do know.

As far as the word “get” how are you defining that word on your end of the discussion.

Also the word get is very informal. It is not even proper for “received”.

The reason get matters in my case we are discussing digital art. I specifically will not be giving anyone the copyrights. That is asked for as an option in the contracts. I say no transfer.

I go further and let everyone know all over the place that I hold the USCO registration. The NFT comes with a blurb by the artists and links along with SM however the artists want to express themselves. I say I hold the USCO registration on all of my artworks. I do. There is no misreading the contract or the literature if you will that I issue on every NFT.

You will say it matters to a lot of others. It does I agree. That is contract law. You agree NFTs will be seen as property and contracts.

I see what you mean by tether as a legal concept.

In my case I figured out my “tether” approach to the public a long time ago.
