It’s really frustrating to me to see any business try to ‘legislate’ what is allowed, even when the courts have already said something IS legal. This is the kind of thing that makes me walk away from a company’s stock because it goes against the general principles of capitalism (the market itself can decide with its money, more or less). I’m still deciding whether this is “enough” to make me move on from SHOP, but it really does seem one-sided for Shopify to do something like this when they’re about to start the sale of cannibas en masse in Canada.

On the other hand, it looks like the 20,000 not-a-flamethrowers from Elon Musk’s Boring Company (https://www.boringcompany.com/not-a-flamethrower/) are still allowed for sale via the Shopify platform…
