Not a great excuse, but AP Maersk is a huge shipping company, yet does not have a US listing. Results were announced on 10/31/24.
Earlier presentation slides note data in %'s - I’m not informed. There’s a good appendix section (Slides 22 - 25) with helpful data in $.
- Revenue (Ocean) $11.1B vs $7.9B (Q3 2023)
- Revenue (Consolidated) $15.8B vs $12.1B (Q3 2023)
- Adj Net Profit (Consolidated) $3.097B vs $0.489B
- Both “Bank Debt” and “Lease Liabilities” increased vs Q3 2023. But, NIBD (Net interest Bearing Debt) is negative
Significant improvement in market rates in 2024 - more than 50%. That’s very significant vs cargo volume (slight). There’s mention of Gemini a couple of times (the collaboration with Hapag Lloyd that starts in 2025). Not sure if Maersk Tankers results are included. If they were, then they would likely be in Ocean. But, my strong guess, is the tanker entity is a standalone.
