I’m working on typing up some thoughts on Markel. I’m working on their numbers and I’m not sure if I got them correct. If someone has time, could you check my work?

Year Over Year EPS Growth = 87.42, previously it was 
P/E = (Check Current Price) 841.22/41.74 = 20.15

1YPEG = 20.15/87.42 = 0.23

Mark, I verified your numbers against what was already in my spreadsheet. I did not have the recent earnings recorded yet, but made those changes now. The rest of the numbers look correct.

Thanks so much. I had forgotten all about your spreadsheet. Thanks for the reminder.

I can use it to check my numbers in the future. I’m still getting used to putting the numbers together.

Tomorrow, if I’m not too tired when I get home from work, I hope to write up some thoughts on Markel. I will post it on the various Markel boards. I can post it to this board if anyone wants to see it.
