One of the largest employers in the area. St. Charles is the county north of St. Louis County.

Reported to be a major employer of IT professionals in the area. Maybe the largest.

Nice to see progress in coal country!

According to Mastercard’s solar farm contractor, Andy Stancati from Bio Star Renewables, the Ameren and Mastercard electrical grid at this location is the “dirtiest” of all Mastercard locations in the U.S. This project is intended to help with Mastercard’s greenhouse gas reduction goals, and the company needs to add additional solar panels and battery capacity to meet those requirements. Currently, Mastercard has solar panels on top of its parking lot covers.
