METAR and my surgery

My open-heart surgery is scheduled for the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, 11/19/24. Assuming I survive the surgery, I expect to be in the ICU overnight plus 5 or so days in a telemetry unit (with heart monitors). My healing process is expected to be up to 6 weeks.

Remember the METAR rules:

  1. No partisan politics.
  2. No personal insults.
  3. No religion.

Please keep METAR courteous and on-topic while I am away. I don’t want to have to put on rubber gloves and clean up a mess as has happened in the past when I returned from extended leave.

I hope everything goes well for you Wendy. T, my neighbour, had this type of operation some twenty years ago and he’s now well into his eighties.
