During the 1990’s MItt Romney was hailed as a Private Equity visionary and innovator when he loaded up companies with debt, sucked them dry with large management fees, then had them file for bankruptcy screwing the workers out of their jobs, pensions, and health insurance. He was celebrated as one of the most patriotic and Christian men in the country.
Now Private Equity heavyweight Kolberg, Kravits and Roberts, who go by their acronym KKR, is saying that the want the workers to share in the pie – a huge departure from the Romney model.
