Monday Rules of the Board

Monday Morning Rules of the Board

With posting open to more people again, we’re restarting the Monday reminder of the board’s rules. Welcome to everyone joining the discussion.

This board is for discussing individual high-growth companies and the reasoning behind investing in them. We share research, question assumptions, and help each other become better investors. Please keep disagreements courteous and focused on the ideas.

A few reminders:

  • Make your posts useful. Explain your thinking and support it. One-line reactions and brief thank-you posts clutter the discussion; use the Like button instead.
  • When introducing a company, explain what it does, why it interests you, and the financial results and risks worth discussing.
  • Questions are welcome. Show what you’ve considered and, where possible, offer a potential answer.
  • Monthly portfolio summaries should explain why you hold your companies and why you made changes.
  • Don’t disclose recent recommendations or subscriber-only information from paid services.

Politics, unrelated personal conversations, technical analysis, options, leverage, market timing, macroeconomics, ETFs, bonds, crypto, gold, income investing, and turnaround investing are off topic. General portfolio-management questions belong elsewhere.

AI use

The goal is to hear your own thoughts. AI can help with research and writing, but please explain the information in your own words and share your own conclusions. Check the facts you rely on, and avoid copying AI responses into your post.

Conclusion

Keep posts specific and useful. Generic summaries, unsupported claims, and repetitive filler add little to the discussion.

New members should read Saul’s Knowledgebase. Please use search for basic definitions and check existing discussions before starting a new thread.

For more background, see Saul’s full rules. Posts that violate the rules may be deleted.

Thanks for helping keep the board focused and useful.
