Mr Buffett makes an announcement

Like other investors, I knew the day would come when Warren Buffett would finally step down. Well, during this year’s “Woodstock for Capitalists” weekend, Mr Buffett made the big announcement - he will be stepping down as CEO of Berkshire-Hathaway at the end of the year–

Not surprising, Buffett had a suggestion for who should succeed him as CEO – Vice Chairman Greg Abel. I figured one of the Vice Chairman (the other Vice Chairman is Ajit Jain who runs the insurance businesses for BH) would be the likely candidate

May the Fourth be with you Greg!

Someone here try to correct a non issue with me over the cash that the position did not suddenly rise. But it did.

Buffett said something about this not being like 1929.

That is true. These conditions are their own.

Trump through his trade deals has no control. He personally is not able to manage this situation. He has shown no intelligence towards managing anything.

We have high valuations.
We have a trade war bringing on a great depression.

How soon we recover is the issue. Under Trump’s management we won’t.
