My company is expanding. I have gone to my immediate management to discuss my thoughts on a recession or great depression and deflation. They are having a bit of a laugh.

I am seen as very smart, but an old guy who does not see just how good it is. Those who lean left see some of it but they are too young to know. Those who lean right are laughing pretty hard and writing me off.

The whole lot of them are too inexperienced to know the missing economic data matters.

Raises are coming and upper management does not know what to do. I doubt my mamagement is discussing my ideas with upper management. Mind your Ps and Qs.

The expansion plans are pressure on the company to pay more.
I can not discuss my industry or employer by name without representing them. So I won’t. It is a smart compromise to allow me to post online without getting into who they are.

Note on my banking. I have a bank in Massachusetts with a 19.4 Captial to Risky Asset Ratio and only 1.7% of assets in US paper. It is by far the best bank in the region. It has about $4.6 billion in assets.

I don’t know Leap. It’s one thing to talk about another Great Depression here on a discussion board, but to bring it up to your bosses…

Bob,

I am trying to leave the company in the next six months or less. If my video game comes to market in the next two months and is profitable I am out of there.

The management is good with all of it. My career is not with this company. I am 62 y/o. They know that. It makes me useful. I am a pretty good worker who does not challenge them for higher positions. They love the utility in that.

Besides company policy honors what I am doing.

I am not working for your ilk. You’d be hung by your type. I agree with you. I won’t work for you.

Bob, if you are relying on SS…stop thinking you will have any SS going forward. Your ilk is in charge. Your healthcare insurance will be like a dental plan. You are walking right into that. You are right.

I do not know that yet.

I have a prior art search happening this week. It should come up clear and I should have a pct International patent in the next 2 to 6 weeks.

I am finding that to get a lawyer to work, I need to constantly set up deadlines. Make believe or not but no lawyer does anything on the early side.

Bob, I am happy for you.

But do the maths, whatever you saved or invested is about to take major hits.
