From your link: Regional builder cancellation rates vary quite a bit. Texas highest at 27%, with Southeast lowest at 8%.
Real estate is very hard to extrapolate to a national level from more local data sources. Lending may be national, housing prices are local.
Of course, many of the cancellations may be due to the shenanigans our Realtor has told us the local builders are pulling. Then again, with our super low inventory, they probably can be somewhat arrogant about it…for now anyway.
