It is not necessarily and either or which is better. It is an additional source of business revenue.

(Plus, I’m not sure even your description is accurate. My understanding is that the balance between mining/POS rewards and ETH burned in gas fees is slightly net negative - that ETH is very modestly deflationary, so that the more activity that takes place on ETH the fewer ETH tokens are in existence, very slightly).

When Eth was under $1300 that was true it was negative. But Eth is now around $1500. Just looked $1579. I think Eth will bounce around next year. But later in the cycle can go considerably higher.
