I know most of the talk has been about 214, but I am more interested in 181 if/when it receives FDA approval sometime next year. One thing I’ve found is the fact that no big pharma companies have partnered with NKTR-181 yet. The pain-relief market is pretty big and opioid addiction is a health crisis right now; you’d think there would be more interest in this drug. I doubt they plan on using a contract manufacturer and marketing this themselves, but maybe that is an option? I work in the pharma industry, but on the lab/testing side so I don’t know as much about the commercialization and marketing process.
