NTNX shares bucking the trend

Last 2 days NTNX shares seemed strong compared to the Nasdaq 100. Not sure if this means anything, but maybe the shares are trending higher and may break out…

Yeah right…and that’s why NVDA is going down…he’s selling his NVDA to buy NTNX.

Hey, I resemble that comment ;). No comment.

Good thing about mostly being in a taxable account these days, it steadies the discipline and enables one to ignore almost anything until one is utterly compelled to do something given the dreadfully high cost of taxes.

Bad thing of course is the dreadfully high cost of taxes.

Could happen…I like to think…

<<<Regarding Amazon, Nandury has a whole disquisition on why the company’s technology “is proving too expensive for many companies that are born in the cloud,” citing examples of companies such as Dropbox that have “already scaled back their public cloud use.”

“We are beginning to see workloads migrate back to hybrid data centers,” he writes, “we expect this trend to continue.”>>>

At the end of the article. This little piece negates what is one of the larger retractions against NTNX and that is that more and more storage will go to the public cloud, and Nutanix does not sell into the public cloud. Thus there will be relatively fewer CPUs for Nutanix to run on, and Nutanix gets paid per CPU.

This analyst, looking at some misgivings about AWS pricing, is specifying that hybrid is growing because of this, and hybrid is what Nutanix does. It is right up their alley so to speak, in their wheel house, or what not.
