OT. Relevance deprivation syndrome: a retiree phobia

Time in a bottle. We have to be at a similar age perhaps. The first Dos and then Windows programs that used those OS were seriously cutting costs.

We no longer get that sort of bang for the buck. We are not going from pencils to spreadsheets.

Throw AI in the mix and we are kidding ourselves.

The world is turning around and anywhere we point the code is crap.

Simple things like Google’s portal rarely make an appearance. While Google messes endlessly with the results. I do not know how Google gets away with it, other than their portal is not a pita.

We can talk about 20% of the computer room are the workers but the result from them are crap.

There are computer rooms that do not have the 20% of workers who participate.

For our want of results, AI is like sticking a fork in the socket. We are rolling backward as far as accuracy goes.
