Paycom Results

For anyone interested, Paycom appears to have had another blowout quarter (I know, high PE, but also high growth - so a partial Saul stock)

Paycom Software (NYSE: PAYC) reported Q1 EPS of $0.33, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $0.20. Revenue for the quarter came in at $90.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $83.43 million.

GUIDANCE:

Paycom Software sees Q2 2016 revenue of $69-71 million, versus the consensus of $68.69 million.

Paycom Software sees FY2016 revenue of $320-322 million, versus the consensus of $311.20 million.

Yeh I thought these looked really good.

I’m struggling though with the sequentially drastically lower Q2 guided numbers - maybe payroll service revenues is very seasonal with end of year bonus processing and tax accounting in Q1 not present in Q2? I don’t know enough about the US tax calendar. There was a drop in last year’s Q1 to Q2 but it didn’t seem as great as this year’s guidance.
