Near the end Zeihan recommends one of my favorite books, Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond.

I agree with Zeihan in that the American economy and the US$ will be fine. He also gives some investing suggestions for the coming transition.

Peter Zeihan is a geopolitical strategist and the author of four books, including most recently, The End of the World is Just the Beginning. Thanks for posting that interview!

Many Interesting pieces and examples of how the dominos can fall in a global economy. Losing Helium and Neon extraction due to the war in Ukraine and its resultant impact on the ability to etch chips was eye opening.

Guns, Germs and Steel also one of my favourite books.
