If you read the summary, you will see that the news rules allow flaring but eventually require green completion. I think green completion also has a combustion device, but I’d be interested to know exactly what equipment is used for green completion.
Now there are a variety of local (state and some city) regulations that may be more stringent than the federal EPA rules. As investors in PFIE (and PSIX) we should know what these are and how strictly they are enforced. PFIE stated that they are expanding in geographies (Colorado, Texas, Pennsylvania) where regulations are favorable to their business.
