Actually, it’s based on an old photo-g phrase I know: “F/8 and be there”. Refers to the F-stop of a lens being at its best for DOF and having ones eyes open for “the shot”.

Don’t understand why he uses F11 and not the proper format, F/11. Maybe I’ll have time (60+mins) a bit later to watch.
