President Biden just signed the ADVANCE Act to jump start the building of nuclear reactors in the U.S., including microreactors. It appears that some provisions also encourage the conversion of coal plants into nuclear plants. (The DOE article expressly mentions TerraPower, which is the topic of another thread in this forum.) The bill includes provisions to streamline the licensing process. I would say the companies already working on projects should have a head start. There also should be some pick and shovel plays in the nuclear fuel space.
