This is old news. Yes, we know how to reuse nuclear waste. And Allied Chemical built a plant to do this reprocessing. But they could not get a permit to operate.
This is a political issue. The science is well developed. Perhaps this video suggests efforts to better educate the public. Fear is hard to overcome. And be sure that other energy providers will do all they can to stop or delay the effort. Who Killed the Electric Car all over again.
