@Goofyhoofy, How does this chart illustrate anything about “cars driving the US economy”? To me, it shows that the US has exported about a million cars a year for the last decade or decade and a half.
If anything it might show that cars are driving the Chinese economy. But we know that’s not really the case because other Chinese exports still are way higher than their export of cars. Evan at 4.5 million of them (somewhere under $100B worth I would guess).
