SentinelOne (NYSE: S), an autonomous cybersecurity platform company, today announced that the company’s Singularity XDR Platform has been recognized as the 2021 Endpoint Protection Security Product of the Year.

The award is the output of an industry-wide product survey analyzing technology, revenue, and profit opportunities for partners as well as customer demand across leading vendors.

SentinelOne is differentiated in its ability to innovate at scale and create a hyper-growth global go-to-market. According to CRN, “SentinelOne’s decision to rely on partners for services delivery stands in contrast to rival CrowdStrike, which has a broad portfolio of vendor-delivered assessment, advisory, technical, managed and incident response services.”
Today, thousands of technology partners lead with Singularity XDR, bringing SentinelOne into enterprises to replace legacy antivirus and other next-gen products.

“We’ve created a cloud-native XDR platform that rapidly deploys across all major operating systems and cloud infrastructures delivering AI-powered visibility, protection, and autonomous response,” said Nicholas Warner, COO, SentinelOne. “SentinelOne sets itself apart with our technology, innovation, and partner-friendly approach – together these are structural and long-lasting competitive moats.”

I am not sure what methods they sued or the criteria they looked for to come up with this ranking, but it is surprising to me that Crowdstrike didn’t even make the list among the finalists for this ranking, while McAfee and Malwarebytes are among the finalists. To be honest, I always take any rankings with a grain of salt.

Endpoint Protection

Winner:
SentinelOne: SentinelOne Storyline Active Response (STAR)

Finalists:
Check Point Software Technology: Harmony
Cybereason: Cybereason XDR
Malwarebytes: Malwarebytes Endpoint Detection and Response
McAfee Enterprise: McAfee Enterprise MVision XDR
Sophos: Intercept X
ThreatLocker: ThreatLocker Elevation Control

Although, it is good to see Monday.com being chosen as the winner in the Office Productivity Software category (here again, Asana didn’t make the list of finalists). It does provide some validation for Monday being the best product out there, although that alone is not a reason to be investing in any company.

monday.com: monday.com Work OS

Finalists:
Citrix: Citrix Workspace
Dropbox: Dropbox Enterprise and Data Governance
Sage: Sage Intelligent Time
