SKX trending down

While the rest of the portfolio is static or trending up, SKX seems to be bucking both of these trends.

I have a significant position in SKX, but have room to grow it. I am wondering if this is a opportunity to add to my position or if something else is going on.

From everything I have seen so far there is nothing that has changed with SKX and the business is on track to continue develop significant growth.

Anyone have thoughts on why it’s trending down?

I am wondering why SKX is down as well. I don’t see any news. I did buy a few more shares though.

People are beginning to realize that, like Nike, SKX is a one-trick pony. The minute people stop wearing shoes - - POOF; they bite the dust.

One-trick pony? Ponies? If SKX started selling shoes for ponies, sales would immediately jump at least 100%, due to the 2-feet to 4-hooves change in total addressable market.

Skechers (SKX -4.5%) trades weak after channel checks from OTR Global create some anxiety. In early February, the company issued a very strong backing of its Q1 guidance. The matter will be settled on April 27 when the company issues the earnings report and provided full-year guidance.

I took today’s drop as an opportunity to buy more shares, I had been hoping I’d get another chance to get some more shares in the $26 range and now I have them!

Bought more than usual, too, for me, at least.

I bought more shares today, too, and that was before seeing this positive article:

Tempting to buy even more shares.

Not a lot to that story - fluff piece.

Long SKX.

I kinda liked the “fluff piece.” Also added to SKX (again).

It’s easy enough to verify the volume they quote:

Yesterday’s open interest: 23

Today’s volume: 3784
