42 million people depend on SNAP benefits. So a dip on grocery store profits. And huge lines on charitable & state food banks which already been hit by layoff federal workers.

Edit: Of course the Admin can appeal - but that would then remove all doubt as to whom is fighting to cut off SNAP benefits.
True dat. Seems like a politically risky move to appeal feeding hungry people. But then again…the cruelty is the point.
The party wants welfare gone.
They are putting risk aside.
