Someone just got a Harvard Rejection Letter

Wasn’t Palm Sunday a couple of days ago?
Didn’t he play golf?

As something of an Irishman, I am going to laugh instead of cry with that comment.

$20 says TFG will appear on Sunday proclaiming he’s Jesus resurrected.

I think the two situations are exactly the opposite. BJU was prohibiting students from exercising rights. Harvard is trying to protect the exercising of rights.

Now, if Congress passed a law banning the amorphous DEI, then the cases would be more similar. A vague EO banning DEI doesn’t suffice.

He’s been pushing the “chosen by God” line since the assassination attempt last summer.

ever since Jerry Falwell Jr’s problematic menage a trois with wife and a cute poolboy went public and caused him to cut a deal, whereby Trump got emergency PR+ help from Trump’s mafia lawyer trained network (Michael Cohen!), and in return Falwell Jr. gave a USA idiot xtian equivalent of a Papal endorsement, followed by national “salvific” prophecies by the evangelical entrepreneurs, for Prez contestant Trump, whose fogged in campaign took off.

It really was that sick.

Russell Moore, a long time respected power within the Southern Baptist Convention and conservative Christianity responded:

“Trading in the gospel of Jesus Christ for political power is not liberty but slavery,” one tweet said. “Evangelicals can love a golden calf, as long as Aaron promises to make Mexico pay for it,” another read.

The writer Tim Alberta, son of a minister, and who could be labeled as a real xtian (v. the Golden Calf xtians or xtian nationalists) once replied with a question to an “evangelical” who said Trump was sent by God: did you ever consider that he was sent by God to test your faith?

You’re missing the point. There is precedent for denying tax exempt status to a university. It is up to the courts to decide if it is justified.

I take the attempt as real. Shiny-land has an overabundance of nuts with guns. TIG wasn’t the only one spared by a fluke. Jerry Ford lived because Squeaky forgot to release the safety on her automatic. Sarah Jane Moore would probably have missed Jerry anyway, but a 'Nam vet in the crowd saw her arm holding a gun, and deflected it. George Wallace and Reagan both survived the attempt.

Does that mean you don’t think what happened in Butler was real?

Who knows? Let’s just say it was a rigged assassination attempt. We don’t need any proof, we can just repeat that it was a publicity stunt to boost TFG’s poll numbers. It doesnt really matter if that’s true, we can just repeat it over and over knowing some will believe what we’re saying.

That’s how politics works now.

It was real but instantaneously turned into propaganda. How’s them apples?

Dear Bob,

Federal law bars the president from either directly or indirectly requesting the I.R.S. to investigate or audit specific targets. The I.R.S. does at times revoke tax exemptions from organizations for conducting too many political or commercial activities, but those groups can appeal the agency’s decision in court. Any attempt to take away Harvard’s tax exemption would be likely to face a legal challenge, which tax experts expect would be successful.

Harrison Fields, a White House spokesman, said the I.R.S.’s scrutiny of Harvard began before the president’s social media post.

I would suggest some combination of prison time and psychiatric care. If they had gotten to Hitler with psychiatric care earlier he would have lived past 1945.

Which would you put in place first the psychiatric care or the prison sentence?

Hitler could have developed into more of a person if he had a good shrink prior to 1933. Of course by 1937 a second prison sentencing would have been appropriate.

Ever see “The Boys From Brazil”?

Interesting observation. A third alternative, SCOTUS finds DEI unconstitutional.

Religion has been a political tool since the days of the Witch Doctors. Religion granted lands to true believers in biblical times. Religion interfered with Roman Hegemony in the Middle East. The Crusades. It’s ongoing.

If we’re gonna fight fire with fire, we’ve gotta push the narrative that it was staged, using assassination actors…
