Does anyone have a recommendation for an Android sound recorder? I have an exchange going on with a vendor concerning some sounds a device is making and my attempts to capture this with video are problematic because the video files are too big for their e-mail system.
I thought Android surely must have a voice recorder built in as a default app, but Android 9 (the old version on my Moto G6 phone) doesn’t. But I just installed the free “Voice Recorder & Voice Memos” app and it seems to work pretty well. Note that it has annoying ads if you’re Wi-Fi is connected, but it still works if you turn Wi-Fi off. You can also save recordings and mail them as well. This is the only app I’ve tried.
