iirc, Stellantis did announce buyouts for nearly all the engineering staff in Auburn Hills a few months ago. Offshoring engineering, as well as production. Inevitable, really. Why pay for a USian Georgia Tech grad to engineer something for you, when you can get someone in Morocco to do it cheaper? (that’s sarcasm son) See? We don’t need fancy college grads in the US at all, just bantu education, so the “JCs” can have their personal jets polished. So all that education funding can be cancelled, and the money used to give the “JCs” more tax cuts. (more sarcasm)
