SZYM and Capex

All;

I have been looking into Szym these days. For years 2011/2012/2013 SZYM’s CapEx is 10/12/15 millions and in comparison their R&D for the same time frame is 66/66/45 millions. I assume its partners funded a large part of the capacity build-out. Additionally all those JVs and partnerships Solasym has signed allowed Solasym to leverage its partners deep experiences in manufacturing management, product distribution and sales while Solazym can focus on R&D to deepen and fortify its technology moat.

I think this is a very smart business model.

Hi M,

I agree but then I am a very agreeable guy and I’d like to hear from some of the more experienced investors that frequent this board.

I’m impressed with their product and business model and have bought a bunch of shares. (At this point I am underwater by a few pennies but am glad that I bought when I did.) Now to hope their factories open promptly while the demand is there and the competition is not.

Any sign that the company has good controls over it’s expenses?
Buena suerte,
Mykie
